Brickyard

I’m loving a little country in my wardrobe lately. My BFF Jessa has definitely been a big part of that inspiration with her carefree, boho, country girl style. I think we emulate the people around us that we love and that inspire us in many ways and I’m lucky to have wonderful girlfriends who do just that.

Adapting your own look to emulate those around you a bit is the most sincere form of flattery. Which is exactly why I blog about all this as well! Hopefully I can inspire some of you to consider new looks and express yourself by stepping outside your fashion box sometimes and have fun with what you wear :)

I scored these Chloe boots at the Saks sale recently and they are the most comfortable shoes ever. Perfect for all seasons with the mid-calf height, definitely my fave steal of the season!

I bought this James Perse skirt in two colors because it’s just so versatile and comfortable. Made out of stretch jersey, I can wear it long or short, with a simple T and flats, or dressy blouse and strappy heels. The best part is, it’s super-stretchy so still comfy after a big meal ;) Always a plus!

Sweater: Vince (mulberry version here, charcoal here and here on sale!). Skirt: James Perse. Boots: Chloe (similar here too). Hat: Gap (similar here and here). Sunglasses: Oliver Peoples. Jewelry: Cartier, David Yurman.
